Designee Resources
Maintaining your credential is key to your continued success. Designees must recertify every three (3) years. Discover recertification resources for current Designees.
Applications
Candidates seeking professional diversity, equity, and inclusion certification have two options:
- Certified Diversity Professional (CDP)® - designed for anyone interested in or responsible for championing diversity in their organization. Apply for the CDP®.
- Certified Diversity Executive (CDE)® - designed for executives who are responsible for setting the vision and strategy for their organizations. Apply for the CDE®.

Candidate Handbooks
The handbook can be a valuable resource for candidates pursuing IDC's DEI certification exams. It can help candidates understand the exam format and content, and identify the study resources that will be most helpful. The handbook can provide candidates with the information they need to successfully complete the credentialing process.
IDC Policies
Certification Candidates and Designees are expect to adhere to
IDC Policies, including the Code of Ethics, Standard of Practice, Trademark Use Guidelines, and all other policies outlined in the Candidate Handbook.
